Strong Women
Are you a strong woman?
Strong, kind women…my family is full of them.
Including Sara (pictured here) who is married to my brother Cord. I affectionately call her my Sister in Love. She has five sisters and she is a real hand with a horse. I stopped by to see them and my niece, Tulsa, this week. Sara was trying out this super nice gelding that came from the 6666 Ranch in Texas.
I snapped this pic just as the storm clouds were rolling in. Sometimes the storms of life roll in and being strong doesn’t mean you are an island only looking out for yourself, or that you don’t struggle or that you don’t get down on life. It’s getting up again when life gets you down, trying something new even if it’s scary, sticking to your commitments even when it’s hard and loving fiercely.
